Description:
>UPDATE 2: Here's what his foster mom has to say about him: I had a very sad story as I was kept in a carrier and used for breeding for the first 6 years of my life.  My back legs were weak, I had problems walking (I would take two steps forward and one step back) and my hair was one solid mat.  Despite this neglect, I am truly the most affectionate cat ever.  I purr as soon as you start talking to me.  If you pick me up, I snuggle in your neck and purr even harder.  In fact, I don't stop purring the entire time you are around me.  I really love to be held like a baby and carried around where ever you go.  If I can't be held, I'll prefer your lap, if I can't have your lap, I'll rub up on your legs and follow you around like a little dog.  I'm making up for lost time, I've had 10 years of solitude, now I want some quality one-on-one lovin'.  I'm a talker, I'm not obnoxious, I just let you know when I want to be held or if I think you've forgotten about me.  I love to play chase, but the other cats in the house think I'm trying to start a fight.  I was able to play with a Bichon who was visiting for the weekend, she totally gets the game: she doesn't eat me, I don't scratch/bite her, we just run around the house and play.

UPDATE 1:  He has been groomed an neutered.  He can be adopted any time now.  He may go to a home with other cats because he gets along with others fine, but must be adopted separately from Cameron because they don't get along with each other.

5 year old male silver tabby Persian.  He is the most outgoing of the bunch, and will trip you up rubbing on your legs and talking continuously. He sticks his tongue out sometimes. It is so cute!  Norton is very, very friendly, he climbs on you for attention, if you are bent over his food bowl, he puts his paws on your back, if you sit down, he climbs in your lap, puts his hands on your shoulder and snuggles in your neck.  He is absolutely starving for affection.  It is hard to get a photo of him because he is always meowing or rubbing up against you.

Once RD is fixed and vaccinated, we will have more than $800 in vet care alone for the six Persians we took in.  If you would like to donate to their vet bills, you can donate directly to Dr. Karla McCloud of Animal Hospital of Central Brevard, or see our website http://www.pawsfla.com for ways to donate to the shelter.
