Purrs And Whiskers Shelter, Inc. (PAWS) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3, all-volunteer organization. We are dedicated to helping cats and kittens through rescue and fostering from our personal homes at considerable costs to our foster people. Our only source of funding is from donations, we are not government-funded.
PAWS was established in 2000, and has placed over 2700 cats/kittens through our association with PetSmart in Melbourne, FL. We have wonderful cats and kittens of all colors, shapes, sizes, and ages. Each of our felines has had all their medical requirements tended to --- we work with several veterinarians that ensure this.
So go to our cat or kitten adoption pages, and pick out your new best friend! We do require an Adoption Application. See our Adoption Policy page or any of our Adoption pages to download and fill one out today. If you are unable to adopt, please help our foster people by donating to PAWS using our donation page or use the PayPal donate button towards the bottom of our navigation bar! Even $5 to $10 will help cover either a Rabies Vaccine, two Distemper shots, or four doses of Advantage....we know how to stretch a dollar! Every little bit helps the kitties! (Thanks!)
