Julian was living on the street and was brought to a feral/stray cat spay/neuter clinic. He was fixed and vaccinated (and eartipped for a life on the street). The volunteers noticed he had skin mites, and some eye inflammation, so one of the PAWS foster moms agreed to take him and treat him. He is fine now and had no problems since! That was Dec. 2007.
Julian was adopted in 2008, and the children were carrying him around, which he had a problem with (the ribcage carrying method). His family was sad to give him up but it was for the best as the children were young and this was the only way they could carry a cat. They said other than that he is an AWESOME kitty who loves sharing your pillow at night. (I have to add to that - it's more like "stealing" your pillow at night!!)
Julian is okay being a lapcat, he just wants to be the ONLY cat around and have his OWN human lap time, he swats away any other cat. This unfortunately caused him to lose his last home, he was returned in 2 weeks.
Julian is a senior kitty now and is being monitored closely by his foster mom.
