Description:
DOB appx Sept 2006, DSH creme and blue tuxedo, spayed female (momcat). Phoebe was found dumped with (we think) two separate litters of hers, on a Friday the 13th. She was very thin and we have been fattening her up! She's a very sweet cat, and extremely petite.

Phoebe has a virus which is NOT contagious but she will always have, it is called: Feline Cutaneous Fibropapilloma.

Due to this virus, most people will skip adopting her, despite her being a very nice and playful kitty!

This virus requires no special care, there is a cure...time...and immune supplements. We hoped for that one special adopter to come along because her immune system is consistently "taxed" in foster care with the revolving door of kitties and kitty stress. So her virus bumps would clear quickly in a private home.  We verified this with the actual scientists who did the original study on FCF.

Phoebe now has severe Stomatitis (June 2010) and is not adoptable, & her recent mouth surgery was over $700. She will be a long term resident here so donations are always welcome.

As you see Phoebe is a good natured kitty, she lets the dog use her as a pillow!
