Jet had an allergic reaction to the anesthesia and died during surgery. His brain was without oxygen, so he is now brain damaged. Jet can walk, run, meow, feed himself, use the litterpan, groom, and lap water. Jet can also climb (not jump) onto the bed. He "walks off" the edge of the bed (not jumps) a bit ungracefully, but unharmed!!!

As of now, Jet cannot fully see, or fully hear. His left ear has 30% hearing, and he has some peripheral vision in each eye, and some forward vision in his right eye.

Jet reacts defensively when he encounters another cat, and other cats do not tolerate him well (other cats can "sense" he is needy, which is not considered a survival trait in the animal kingdom).

Jet does not groom his torso and lower body so we must have him shaved due to his long fur and the dander buildup. He must be knocked under for this. Due to his fur growing back really fast, it's 2-3 times a year and about $140 each time vet costs. 

Jet also does not use the litterpan for #2. Luckily his poops are firm and easily picked up!!!
