Description: This sweetie was adopted from the county shelter and the family was unable to keep her. She is STUNNING and very easygoing!
Shelley's left front leg does not bend, our vet did xrays & it is an old injury which is too old to fix now, if it becomes painful the only option is amputation. She just swings the leg out as she walks, her gait is pretty much even, considering. The elbow is fused which causes her to turn her foot out - - we all agreed her front feet are so fuzzy she looks like a Lorax!!!
Shelley needs to be the only kitty in the home. We think she feels threatened due to her bum leg and other cats tend to target her. She also must have an open (no lid) litterpan, we think due to her limited ability to get in and out.
