This nice guy was given up due to a financial situation. He is extremely sweet, takes a couple of days to adjust, and is easily picked up and adores attention.
Has been with other cats, and was exposed to a gentle dog and was sleeping with the dog by day 2.
We recently adopted Kori to a new family however they are allergic; he does have some really long fur!
When Kori was returned, he had some diarrhea from coccidia due to the stress of loss-of home (and his kitty buddy he grew up with), brought into a rescue home which smells like so many other cats, then adopted to a new home, plus taken on a road trip....all within a 2-3 week timeframe. (I would be stressed too!)
We have treated the coccidia with a wonderful new product which is a 1-dose wonder....then he still had slightly loose stool so we have treated him with Metronidazole for 5 days for GI inflammation, and with him eating Purina EM, his stool is firm!
We are now migrating him slowly to a regular diet and are monitoring closely for any recurrence. (his previous owner fed him Meow Mix dry and there were no issues when he first came into rescue so we are sure it was all stress-related).
We have just posted new pictures, the original Christmas picture was made when Kori was 6 months old. His new pictures are current, and he is just over a year old.
