Kurley is a blue and white pit bull female born 6/9/2014. She came into rescue at just about 6 weeks old. A young guy purchased her and when she was only 4 weeks, with her ears already cropped, and within 2 weeks she was very sick with pnemonia. The estimate to treat her was about $1200 which he couldn't afford. He opted to try and treat her conservatively but in 2 days she was near death and his attmepts at finding the funds to treat her had failed. Facing euthanasia she was surrendered to rescue so she could get the treatment she needed. We were not sure she would survive but survive she did. She has recovered completely and has been spayed and is ready for a forever home. She is currently being treated for demadex mange, a hereditary mange that is not contagious to other animals or people. She is very smart and observant, very good with other dogs, cats and children. She's small in stature but solid as a tank. Will be a strong dog and training is a must. All dogs adopted from PAWS have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. All dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworms.
