Description:
This extremely nice and just a bit shy girl was in rescue but we know none of her history such as where she was rescued, etc. The reason we don't know is the rescuer died suddenly after a 3 year cancer battle, and the animal records are who knows where. So Martie's got updated vaccines and is ready to go to a new home!
Martie likes to jump up to your hand and pursue petting that way! She's a head-bumper kitty...we'll work to get a video to catch the head bumping in action :)
She also loves to sleep on your pillow!
Martie will actually sit up on her back legs like a squirrel to get petted, we're working to get that picture too.
Many Brevard rescues including PAWS, Central Brevard Humane Society, The Last Chance Sanctuary, and SPCA of Titusville have stepped up and taken cats from this rescuer's home. The family of the rescuer is not enthused about continued care for the kitties, and the home is being given back to the bank, but we don't know "when". Luckily a roommate is caring for the remaining cats and we hope we have time to find foster or forever homes for them all.
