DOB appx 2003, purebred SILVER (rare) Persian spayed and front declawed female. Before you get all excited, thinking, "wow a purebred!!" I want you to know Persians are VERY high maintenance cats, they MUST be brushed once to twice a day, without fail, as they are unable to manage their coat alone. They also require attention to wiping their eyes, due to the breeding their noses and tear ducts are very different than other cat breeds, and this MUST be managed correctly to avoid infection. Please do not apply unless you are committed to this high-maintenance breed of cat. This is NOT a good "first cat you've ever had". DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!

Princess Isabella dropped at the county shelter by someone who had her and another adult Persian for just a few months. Evidently the person got these cats from a friend (unknown why) and could not keep them due to allergies.

The other Persian found a home but this beautiful girl did not and was headed for the kill room. She had a kitty cold, and as of now, is almost done with her meds. She is beautiful and since she was with another cat, we know she is ok being around cats. We are not sure about dogs or children.

We have contacted the lady who turned her in and are waiting to hear back so we can get more info & vet records, because Princess Isabella must be on FUD approved food for urinary health (Purina brand will not work). However, we do not know why, and it is good to have all the records if possible.

In the pictures she is still dirty from the time she spent unbrushed at the county shelter, we have since had her to a groomer (thanks KJ's) where they donated the services to de-mat and bathe her. Contact Mona at meowmail1@yahoo.com.
