Description:

Hi, my name is Mirage and I am amazingly beautiful and a very uniquely colored tortie point Ragdoll/ Siamese mix. I am fluffy and pretty, and just quite the princess! I was dropped off at the county shelter because they said they were allergic to me, and was then rescued from there and am now living in a nice foster home. I am about 5 years old, and that's still quite young for a kitty! I am VERY loving and SOOO friendly. It takes very little to make me happy and get me purring up a storm. Since I have Siamese, I will talk to you to get your attention, and the Ragdoll in me means I love to be with my people friends.  I'll lay down next to you, and am ok being held for short periods of time -- I'd rather be getting pet or scratched though. I'll head bump or hi-five you for affection and am pretty mellow and well adjusted.

Mirage is good at entertaining herself, and does still play with toys some.  If you're willing to play with her, she likes toys on a stick.  She ignores being hissed at, and continues to do her own thing, waiting for the resident cat(s) to accept her.  During the day she likes to take a nap in quiet areas like under the bed, then when she gets up seeks out attention or starts to play.  She likes to jump up in bed and get a petting and either be touching you or put her head on the pillow.  She likes laying in cat trees, and is great at scratching cardboard or carpeted scratchers, and leaving furniture alone.  She is also ok being brushed.  She would most likely be fine with well-behaved children, but is afraid of dogs.  She would do well in most households, as long as someone was home a lot or there were cat friend(s) to hang out with.

UPDATE: Mirage temporarily went to a home with a very nice dog who was about her size, but she was very very afraid of him.  For this reason, she cannot go to a home with dogs.  She is back with PAWS and available for adoption again.
