This sweet girl was in the ISO (isolation) room at the county shelter with a start of a kitty cold. the ISO room was full so they were making fatal decisions. we took her because she is so incredibly young and sweet (and beautiful!)

Gabriella is very easygoing, and gets along fine with other cats and gentle dogs. She likes her "space" so will hiss if a kitty gets too close (usually within 5 inches of her nose)!

Gabriella has completely settled in to her foster home and is now stealing her foster mom's pillow at night! she loves to be with you and makes "biscuits" or "happy paws" on your shirt.

We checked into the russian blue breed. She has a couple of traits of the breed but not many! So she may have a few drops of RB in her...she has the mauve foot pads, and her body conformation is very similar (under all that fur). she does have a couple of "disqualifying" traits of the breed, such as longer fur, oval eyes, and her eye color is not quite a full green, it's yellowy green. her little white "locket" on her chest is also a disqualifier, the RBs must be solid grey. Her coat is very soft, and shimmery, which are RB traits also. So the few factors are enough for us to change her category from maine coon mix to RB mix.

Disposition: this one is a winner, a true lapcat (loves to make biscuits in your lap). We're stunned she has not yet been adopted.
