Description:DOB appx 2/1/10, DSH black & white spayed female.
This little girl was a stray, and had two kittens. Lucky for her some rescuers took her in! So here she is, off the streets and getting used to a consistent meal, clean water, and someone to pet her. She's enjoying it and her little meow is so cute, she squeaks -- thus her name!
Her babies weaned and she was spayed and is ready to go. OK with other cats. She is just a little timid but loves petting and attention. She prefers not to be picked up.
Because she came off the street (and it was obvious she was new to living "inside" it took her about 5 weeks to adjust to living indoors. She would probably need 2 weeks at her new home to adjust to the new routine. Because she starts out timid, we would suggest keeping her in a bathroom to start. This is better than a spare bedroom because there is no big bed to hide under!
She has put on weight now that she is spayed and is not nursing. Squeakie is still very petite and is going to stay that way - she's just a tiny one!
Squeakie is one of our funniest, silliest kitties. She is very playful and loves to scamper around and bat at toys. When you pet her & she purrs it sounds like she's going to turn herself inside out because her purr is SO LOUD! She sounds like a sandhill crane when she purrs. listen to her video!! :)
