She is very upset after being dumped at a relative's house and then dumped AGAIN by the relative -- she was left at the county shelter. PAWS got the call about this special girl and picked her up at the shelter the same day. Poor thing. We are trying to get her settled, she was hissy and upset at first!  

In the pictures she was hissing as she walked around the house and smelled the other cats. 

We monitored Miss Kitty for a few weeks and we have concluded she needed xrays for her mid-to-lower back, because she was so sensitive (would yell) when touched there even just to pet her. So we took her to the vet and almost $300 later, yes, she needed some attention for her lower back and her legs too.  The kitty chiropractor has adjusted her and we have her on some soft tissue supplements, and anti inflammatories, to help her too.  

At this point we are not sending her to a new home, we are waiting a few weeks to see how her back does.

After 5 days, her back is already much, much better. We are keeping her separate from other cats and she seems to enjoy being the "queen" of the castle (well, bathroom!!!).
