PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 yrs or so). Applications for single kittens will not be considered, and due to the number of kittens in 2021 & 2022* we will not be able to respond if you request a single kitten only. 

*due to COVID & lack of spay/neuter in 2020-2021, rescues are slammed with 2022 kittens.

HERE IS THE BIO FOR PRESTON: 

Preston and his siblings (Pattie, Penny) were born to a feral momcat in a neighborhood in Cocoa. Momcat was trapped (and tested negative for Feline Leukemia) and fixed, so she is out of the kitten business! She was returned to her colony.

This litter tamed up and are super nice, thanks to our awesome volunteers! They are used to a quiet home so older children are best, and gentle dogs.

Preston has short fur and mackerel tabby markings. 

Preston socialized the fastest. That is normal, usually the boys tame up first. He is fostered with Abe and they are buddies! We are hoping to place them together! We are also taking Preston to the vet to check his left pupil which seems always larger than his right. We haven't noticed any issue with his eyesight at all, he is a typical active kitten. 

FYI PAWS foster moms will do the "due diligence" on any medical condition prior to adoption. This "eye" diagnosis will hold him up unless an adopter wishes to proceed and follow up with the eye doctor themselves.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to www.pawsfla.com and click on the Adoption Policy menu, from there you will find the online application link. 

The adoption process typically goes as follows:
- you submit an application
- foster mom reviews, and will contact you by email
- upon approval, foster mom will coordinate an adoption location/time.... or your deposit to hold young kittens
- foster mom will email, call or text to coach as needed to help integrate your new kitty
