Description:
DOB approx 2007. Persian LaPerm spayed female - LaPerms are very rare! Her fur looks kind of like it was permed, hence the LaPerm breed name. The curls are permanent and even the whiskers and eyebrows are kinky. The hair is extremely soft, but textured, and has no undercoat. With Poodle like fur, they are semi hypoallergenic (if the allergy is to fur, not dander, they won't bother allergies). Visit http://www.lapermcats.com/LPSAdescription.html for more info on the breed.
She was found on the street, in a business district in Merritt Island, and had a horrible case of fleas, which she was treated for. She went to a home for a year and a half as a companion to an elderly woman living alone who was allergic to cats, but had no issue with her. Unfortunately, her new owner had a stroke, and can no longer care for her. She would do best in a quiet home with no kids. ( I wanted to mention that she is such a talker! She prances around and tells you about it all.)
NOTE: Curly does NOT like to be scratched behind the ears, and doesn't really like to be brushed.
UPDATE: Curly originally was intimidated by other cats and dogs. She got used to them when she was back in foster care though. She went to a wonderful new quiet household where she was the only pet, and was missing her buddies so much, she seemed depressed. She was looking at and pawing at her reflection, trying to get it to play with her. For this reason, she needs to go to a home with other cats. She cannot be an only pet.
