Favorite Animals and Breeds!
Kellie was found by a previous Purrs And Whiskers adopter. Kellie was on the street by an apartment complex. No one reported her missing and she had no microchip.
Spayed, tested, dewormed, and she is now ready to go...the vet let us know Kellie is a petite one, because she looks 3 months old but is almost 6 months old!!!
We don't know what happened to scrape her nose up like that. The vet confirmed it's a scrape and it's healing. Nose fur takes quite awhile to grow back.
OK being held, seems ok with other cats and chill about everything! We think she's going to be big because just look at her ears! LOL
PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 yrs or so).
Here is why -- this is the best article we have found to explain: http://meowcatrescue.org/resources/articles/12/single-kitten-syndrome/
If you are interested in adopting, please go to www.pawsfla.com and click on the Adoption Policy menu, from there you will find the online application link.
The adoption process typically goes as follows:
- you submit an application
- foster mom reviews, and will contact you by email
- upon approval, foster mom will coordinate an adoption location/time.... or your deposit to hold young kittens
- foster mom will email, call or text to coach as needed to help integrate your new kitty
