Description:
A wildlife rescuer took a pregnant momcat in when she found out the cat's owners were just going to let her live outside with her babies because she "kept getting pregnant". (this is illegal - to have unfixed cats outdoors breeding & roaming)
Kudos to the rescuer who took them in!
The momcat had 6 babies. PAWS agreed to take the last 3 of the litter. We are going to help get momcat fixed too. Mac and his siblings have been living indoors and are used to people, and have never been on the street.
Mac is definitely a Maine Coon mix - his face right now has short fur however his "ruff" (the fur around his neck and framing his face) may come in more fully later. His back and tail are extremely fluffy.... his tail has a huge plume!
Mac is fixed, tested, dewormed, deflea'd, vaccinated and ready to go! Once he settles into a home he follows you everywhere, even to watch you doing dishes in the kitchen sink!! LOL He is quite a character.
Mac would do best in a home with 1-2 other cats, he has not been around dogs enough for us to say how he would react. Older children would be best, Mac likes things very calm!
