Description:

This awesome guy wandered up as a stray to a feral cat colony and we took him into foster care immediately. He is too nice to be living on the streets with feral cats!  He's a looker so we named him Calvin Klein.  

Update: June 2020 - Calvin Klein was returned, due to a sudden death in the family and a resulting move where they could not take him. He is adjusting quite well considering he was in a home for four years and now is back in rescue. He has the typical Maine coon attitude. As you can see in his poser picture we just added to his bio where he is lounging in his crate with "bedroom eyes". LOL. Note: we always start them in a crate because they have to adjust and decompress, plus go to the vet for a checkup (he checked out great and got his vaccines). We found out this family who had him 4 years was letting him outside so we had to re-test him. (negative for Feline Leukemia - yay)

Then....in a matter of days he found a new home ... sadly, they had a family emergency and had to rush and move out of state extremely quickly, so he's back in foster care waiting on that forever home. Third time is the trick, right?

Here's what his last home says about him: He is not a true lap cat but he loves laying on the sofa with you, or next to you. He isn’t very vocal except for when you bring out the wet food. He loves all of the love, and loves his head being pet. He is a very gentle cat. He enjoys looking out of the window most of the day and will greet you in the morning. He does “eye” up the door as his first owners let him outside so whoever adopts him will have to be careful he doesn’t try to slip out. He is overall very relaxed and happy. He is also very good about only scratching his scratcher. He did love his toys, too!! I hope someone who wants a very kind & loving companion scoops him up soon. He’s definitely one of thee sweetest cats.

(Note this last home was with a baby 7 months old and he did great). He settled in immediately, the adopter sent photos taken when they got home from the adoption and he had already found "his" spot on the sofa!
