Description:
Toluca was born in March 2014 and her female baby Torden was born 7/11/14. Both Djungarian hamsters, also known as the Siberian hamster, Siberian dwarf hamster or Russian winter white dwarf hamster. Both white with little grey mohawks. They came to rescue after Petco was accidentally shipped a female hamster with their stock of male hamsters. Toluca, just a baby herself, promptly became pregnant and gave birth to 2 babies, a male and a female. The male would be sold at Petco but since they can't sell females Toluca and Torden came into rescue. They have never bitten, have been handled since birth and are fun to watch. Initially they lived together but have since been seperated due to fighting. Prefer they be adopted with their current enclosures but if you have an adequete enclosure the adoption fee for each hamster is $8. Adopiton fee with enclosure and accessories $25. The enclsures are homemade and are easy to clean, offer plenty of room for accessories and enrichment and ease of handling. If interested please email Tina at tropicllc@msn.com.
