Description:
This nice kitty was found outside a home where there are stray kitties being cared for daily. The home sold so the stray kitties needed to find foster care. Scottie was very thin but he has more than made up for it now, he is about 20 pounds!
Scottie was already fixed, so we tested and vaccinated him. He was a tad scared at first but warmed up fast and now he's a total attention hound!!
He's fine with other cats.
He had some fur loss in places from being on the street and his coat was dull and coarse - now he's on a really good food with flea control and no more big bad world, so he is thriving! His coat is thick and lush and shiny, a jet black and he LOVES to be combed.
Scottie is nearly impossible to get a picture of because the minute he knows you are looking at him he starts rolling over and circling to get petted!!! So the pictures are a little blurry.....
Scottie is thriving living in a house and not on the streets. His only hangup is, if he is on the floor and you walk in the room, it's like you are "too tall" and he will run and hide. But, if he's on the bed or a kitty tree, he will just lounge there while you walk by. He knows his name and he is a total lapcat while you are watching TV. Scottie does knead with his claws so we usually have a towel near the couch to grab & to protect our legs while he kneads.
