Description:

Diana was turned in at the county shelter as a stray from someone in Palm Bay. She proceeded to give birth at the shelter between 5/5 and 5/12. Their eyes were opening on May 16 so we are guessing they were born May 8.

Momcat (we named her Diana) is pale orange which is RARE, most orange cats (90%+) are male. Her kittens, William and Harry, are both male (both adopted).

UPDATE: Diana had graciously taken more kittens to nurse since she only has the two of her own. The foster mom rotated the kittens & supplemented with a bottle so Diana is not over-nursed. Diana is a very nice mommy - now she's all done and the kittens are weaned!! We noticed Boone was nursing on her so her milk has come back in - so we had to separate her from all the kittens to be sure she gets to dry up, she's such a nice girl she nurses them all !!!!

Diana really enjoys keeping to herself, and would enjoy a home of her very own where she gets to be the pampered queen!

UPDATE: all the kittens she was nursing are adopted except Katie. Diana is now a lapcat...when you sit down in the den, she is beside your chair asking to sit in your lap!! She is very sweet and loves attention.

Diana is ok being picked up. She's very petite, barely 7 pounds under that gorgeous coat. Her coat is not extremely thick and she doesn't shed alot which is nice!
